Five questions :)

Posted to Your Experiences

Hey guys

We are producing a magazine for new international students and could use your help :) Can you reply to this article and jot down some answers to questions like:

Favourite Place? Favourite/Worst moment ? Best advice to new international students? Lesson(s) learned?

Also just leave something to let us know how you’re doing :) I’m certainly interested anyway :)

If you’ve left and gone back home then I miss you and I’m sure others do too :)

God bless,

David

The International Society at Glasgow is the largest and most active society of the University of Glasgow. We exist to help bring together students from different nationalities and help them have lots of fun during their stay in Scotland.

This new website aims to provide the information you need (trips information, etc.) and also a forum through which you can ask questions, discuss issues, and share your experiences - to get started, register your nickname on the right!

Posted to Looking for a flat/flatmate

Hey guys,

I’m Ivana, I’m starting Psychology Hons with subsidiary Spanish (i.e. 3rd year) this September and I’ve just finished my Erasmus year in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria :((((((, I’m coming back to sunny Glasvegas in Mid September, until then I’m working in Conil (Cadiz, Spain). I still don’t have my flat and flatmates sorted, so I wanted to ask if anyone would like to share a flat. If you don’t have a flat, we can look for it together, normally it’s possible to find something within a few days, if you have a flat and are looking for a flatmate – even better.

I like sports (but more girlie get into shape stuff, aerobic, jogging, but bouldering, hiking and anything wild wild is cool as well), dance, theatre, good music, guiness,
la vida Erasmus, for more info, drop me a line, pls: email, msn:
ertlova@yahoo.com, skype: ivi_ertli, Spanish phone:

If you want to know anything else about the (Erasmus/international/student) life in
Glasgow,  just ask

I might be quite slow with replies, ‘cause I don’t use internet here very often, but no worries, I’ll reply.

Hello, we are two Spanish students and we are looking for a large double bedroom in a shared flat or a 1bedroom flat near Glasgow Uni. We are both non-smokers, responsible and tidy.

If you think you have a room that may interest us, please write me back to hector.martin102@estudiantes.ulpgc.es

Hello,

I’ve got a double bedroom available in a spacious fully furnished flat on Ferry road, 10 min from the university of glasgow, less than 10 min from subway, shops… The flat has a fully equiped kitchen, 2 bedrooms (one for me  ), one living room, 2 bathrooms, video-security entrance, double glazing, gas central heating.

I’m a third year PhD at the university, I’m french and I’m looking for a non smoker girl and quiet after midnight during the week as I’ve got quite hard working days.

The room is available from the 15th of septembre to january. The rent is £300 per month without bills.

If I’m missing something just ask me …
