If…
- You don’t consider insects, dogs, cats, monkeys or guinea pigs to be food, but snails, frogs and horses are,
- You are proud of being able to eat more than 600 different types of cheeses,
- You are proud of the “baguette française” and if the baker near your home makes one which doesn’t suit your taste, you may buy your bread 10 km away,
- For you, kissing on both cheeks is normal between close acquaintances who are greeting or parting, or family members, even in public,
… Come and enjoy a French clubbing party in the heart of Glasgow’s West End on Thursday, May 15, 2008 (at 11:00pm at Top of Byres Road - £3) and bring a little Parisian style to one of the coolest pub of Glasgow.

The Student Cinema & Television Society (SCATS) have organised a trip to the National Media Museum in Bradford, England this Saturday, 1st March. The cost of the trip is very cheap - only £10 per person - and there are still seats available on the coach. We’ll be leaving early on Saturday morning and will be back at around 11pm on Saturday night.
You can buy tickets tonight (Wed 27th February) in Uisge Beatha on Woodlands Road from 7pm - go to the room on the left & ask for the film society - or at the Gilmorehill cinema at 3pm on Thursday (28th February).
If you cannot make those times but would still like to buy a ticket then please contact me asap at scats.gu@gmail.com
The museum is really fantastic and I hope some of you will decide to join us.
Thanks,
James Farrell, Secretary, SCATS - scats.gu@gmail.com

SCATS’ (Student Cinema & Television Society) are having an ’International Month’ in November where they are screening international films every Thursday at 3pm in the Gilmorehill cinema at the bottom of university avenue.
Non-SCATS-members are welcome to come and watch the films for £1. It’s free for members (& costs £3 to join) so if anyone wants to see them all then they’d be better off joining.
8th November 3pm: “Ils”

15th November 3pm: “The Seventh Seal”
(http://www.imdb.com/title/ tt0050976/)
