Welcome to the International Society at Glasgow University

Posted to Information

The International Society at Glasgow is the largest and most active society of the University of Glasgow. We exist to help bring together students from different nationalities and help them have lots of fun during their stay in Scotland.

This new website aims to provide the information you need (trips information, etc.) and also a forum through which you can ask questions, discuss issues, and share your experiences - to get started, register your nickname on the right!

The homepage shows the most recent information posted to the site. You can navigate to specific categories of information through the navigation above and down the middle. You’re able to leave comments on posts, and you’ll find you can even create your own new posts!

As the site is new, please be patient if you find any problems and let us know so we can get it sorted. We look forward to any and all feedback about bugs, how to do something, or what more you’d like to see, and to watching the site grow with yours & our content - we’ve a number of additional featurse we plan to roll out during the year.

Enjoy!

    Hello,

I am a native qualified teacher currently working for Learning Support
at the University of Bath and reading an MA in Education.

I provide a proof-reading service to International Students. I check
essays and assignments for grammar and English usage. In the summer I checked
seventeen Chinese student dissertations for errors and am continuing
    the service this year.

I would greatly appreciate it if you could inform your members of this
valuable service and for them to email me on sh330@bath.ac.uk if they
wish for any of their work to be checked before it is submitted. Please
    spread the word!

The current website is at www.hundredwords.co.uk

Thank you for your time and if you have any questions please email.

    regards

    Hi!

I’ve tried to unsubscribe from your mailing list since I no longer study at the university of Glasgow, but the email unsubscribe thingie you have doesn’t seem to be working. So could you please remove me from the mailing list. I would have rather sent an email to someone, but I couldn’t find any email-addresses from this site.

    best regards,

    Niko

I can’t find anyone to contact except for a SCAT member.

Would you be able to post contact information, along the lines of email?

I can’t find any contact information. Is it possible to post details in the form of an email address?

Niko - if you reply to the email you are sent indicating you wish to unsubscribe then that should work

Iain - whose contact details are you looking for specifically? If you’re not sure who it is you wish to contact, then whats the topic of your enquiry - I might be able to suggest someone.
